For customers with their own transport, capable of undertaking the labour of removal, or requiring frequent access, self storage is the most economical option. Our self store is all on the ground floor, with good access. Customers with physical limitations can book porter service. The removal and stowing of household items requires a certain level of physical mobility to be carried out safely.

One stop shop!
Some customers want self-storage but don’t have their own transport, or are not able to perform the removal and stowage work themselves, or would simply prefer to have a professional remover. If you are one of these, we offer removal options for anything from one item to the whole consignment. This means that no matter what the stage of the removal or storage operation, you have only one company to make arrangements with. We can collect your goods from wherever they are, transport them to store, deliver them - into the unit if you wish - and then you take over. We also have packing materials, and a packing service, and you can request porter service.
Versatile
Our self storage is particularly versatile because it is not restricted
to storage units. Having our own warehouse, with its distinct areas, enables
us to store unconventional and outsize items that won’t fit in a unit. We
can put three piece suites on our racking system so they do not suffer from
compression marks, and we have a ladder area, and can accommodate refectory
tables, carpets, windsurfers, and other long or tall items. Of course, these
items are secure indoors, in our warehouse. They are covered as required,
and labelled. Our customers have the advantage of being able to choose the
storage option or options that suit them best, and to mix and match removal
and storage services.
Of course, self storage is not for everyone. Not
everyone has the time or inclination for the work involved, or wants to have
access to their goods until they come out of store, in which case the
serviced container storage is more appropriate, or even a combination of the
two.
Secure storage in individual units
Admission to our store is by appointment, and therefore monitored. Each storage unit provides storage space unique to an individual customer. You keep the key to your own unit.
Our self storage units are the same clean, dry, sturdy containers as our serviced storage units. As professionals, we find that they are the optimum size for ease and safety of stowing and use of space. When you want access to your goods, there is plenty of space to park, and plenty of space around the units to work in. All our self store in on the ground floor, with wide entrance points, and we provide hand trucks to make portage easy.
